SUSAN HAUSER
Susan found yoga ten years ago after her husband unexpectedly died from cancer. With two young boys to raise and family to help, finding the right exercise became important. Yoga was different than any other exercise she had done. With any physical activity, you release a cocktail of endorphins and other feel good chemicals into your body, but with yoga she experienced something more. Yoga helped to clear her mind, be present, and start manifest life moving forward. She found that her yoga mat was her therapist. She started teaching six years ago to share how yoga transformed her life. And, to share her passion and love. She founded NOW to bring this transformation to you and the community.

Mickey Bruce Hubbell
An athlete driven by physically challenging and high energy sports, Mickey’s love of fitness has continued to grow since playing competitive softball. She began her yoga practice more than 20 years ago, however it wasn’t until moving to Tiburon in 2015 that she discovered a deeper passion for it at NOW Power Yoga. After Mickey struggled to overcome two autoimmune disorders and an unexpected mastectomy; she prioritized her mental and physical health. Daily practice of yoga gave her newfound motivation, focus and the belief that yoga is for anyone willing to dedicate their time on the mat. She uses invigorating music and collective energy to motivate and move her classes. She finds fulfillment through passing her love of yoga onto others. Expect to sweat, laugh, have fun and be challenged in her all level power class. Outside the studio Mickey is a boss babe, wifey, mother of two boys, foodie, fashionista and chief stew on the Barbary Ghost Ship (a 32ft Grand Banks).
ALLISON Bellizzi
Allison has been a student of yoga since 2002 and a certified instructor since 2005, when she completed her 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher training. Having lived in New York, Arizona and the Bay Area, along with extensive personal travel, has enabled Allison to experience many different styles of yoga and as a result, incorporate learnings from many teachers and fellow yogis. Ali sees yoga as a dance – moving gracefully from one pose to the next using strength, balance and breath. Practicing with this consistent intention has enabled her to incorporate the calmness and mindfulness achieved on the mat into her everyday life which, for her, is the true beauty of yoga. Allison’s all levels heated vinyasa flow classes are challenging, fun and sequenced to a great playlist – be prepared to sweat!

WHAT TO EXPECT IN CLASS:
The music is everything for me, so most of the sounds in class are Caribbean beats, a lot of Salsa, Timba (Cuban Music), and Reggaetón. It is an awesome class with low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style dance fitness experience. Warm-up and cool-down included. No dance experience required to this class, all levels are welcome.

Whitney Larson
Whitney’s journey began in the diverse setting in San Francisco where she had the privilege of being raised amongst a wide variety of people and lifestyles. From an early age Whitney sensed that there was something more to life than the traditional path. Though she initially pursued a conventional career, Whitney eventually made the conscious choice to devote her life to exploring a deeper meaning to existence, which included extensive study of yogic philosophy and practices. Whitney sat for hundreds of hours in silent meditation, has written extensively on the topics of consciousness, spirituality and intuition, and completed her 200hr yoga certification in Bali under Power Yoga instructors Byron De Marsé and Paul Teodo.
Whitney teaches yoga to offer a way for students connect to their own inner wisdom. Whitney believes that yoga is a way for people to get out of their minds and into the present moment, which is where the master intelligence that’s inside each person can be received. It is through yoga that all answers are revealed, including how to live a life that’s full of joy, contentment and bliss.
